The Lagos State Government and GetBundi Technology Company have commissioned a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) laboratory at Wesley Girls Secondary School, Yaba, Lagos.
This partnership between Lagos State and Getbundi was made to ensure the deployment of GetBunidi's Education Technology platform across schools in the State.
In attendance was the Special Assistant on Education to the Lagos State Government, Dr Adetola Salau , the Principal of Wesley Girls, and the GetBundi Tech Team to assist the bright students and explain what our platform does and how beneficial it is to them, especially for the students preparing for their WAEC Examinations.
Dr Adetola Salau in her speech emphasizes that the GetBundi is in line with the STEAMUP Lagos Project which she oversees, her goal is to infuse a STEAM Curriculum making learning fun, accessible, relatable as well as problem problem-solving skills, her closing speech she says ' We are also glad that this lab will be at girl's secondary school because we are driven about inspiring girls to pursue STEM( Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ) courses and career path- by providing STEM-related resources directly at their school which would lead to setting up of clubs and activities that would support their learning more about STEM and it's relevance to their lives''.
